Ocean's Breath Plateau Love lies bleeding

it was beginning to become abundantly clear that sirmiq was a bit of a glutton. he would shove siblings who got in the way of his food, would tug on their tails if they refused to move, and would often growl when challenged himself for a spot on a teat. 

it would soon become abundantly clear that he was not a picky eater either. the retching sounds of mama number two caused the boy to wobble over with big eyes and an even bigger stomach. as if ancestors long gone had whispered to him the secrets of the universe, it was as if sirmiq knew this sound would result in a meal. 

and though the meat was left for them all to try, the boy found himself there first and promptly shoved his face into new food to attempt to devour it all.
