It seemed this was to be a trip of her own whims, for though she allowed him a say he seemed to have no intentions of taking it. That didn't bother her, for it meant she could satisfy her own curiosity without having to worry about him. He was quick becoming a favorite traveling companion, not only because he was patient when she sidetracked, but also because he seemed to appreciate the trip for its own sake just as she did. He wasn't tied up in the destination like so many seemed to be. Vienna took journeys not to get somewhere usually, but for the adventure itself.
