A brow remained arched—the man’s audacity at imploring her further stirred a gentle huff from the girl, who took to studying him with a slightly narrowed gaze now. His eyes were striking—his pelt equally so.

His personality kind of mucked that all up for him, though, it seemed.

“Mmm, nuh-uh,” he she shook her head gently, a paw lifting, a wag of a finger to the man. “I’m not giving away my secrets.” Sorry, not sorry.

A pause then, her own slender shoulders lifting in a shrug in mimicry. “What else do you use it for, then?” He seemed keen on wanting her to know—or maybe she was just imagining that. Raventhorpe had kept the youth pretty secluded… he might have been the first lone wolf she had ever come across.

She almost partially expected an over-protective Reyson to come barging out any moment now… but he was on a scouting trip for the time.
