Called out from a distance; the pale figure stood tense and ready to flee. Dirtwater Fox had seen this before. He watched the woman and the sentinel from the safety of his far-off perch, more fascinated than moved by the scene before him.
She would die. Did the sentinel know this? Intense blue eyes traced each movement.
