Neverwinter Forest Alone—but not adrift

Íruna blinked, her lavender eyes lifting from the bundle of herbs she had been tending to, the faintest flicker of splendid surprise crossing her features. She was happy to hear, at long last, the engagement of her leaders would move forward without issue.

Gentle, she leaned forward, brushing a paw to Callyope's chest. As if to soothe the stars of nervous energy she could sense burning in the other woman. "You will make for a beautiful bride, Seiðkona." She exhales a soft sigh. "It would be my honor to share one with you.”

“One of the oldest prayers is spoken to Lífbjörg, the goddess of life and protection,” Íruna began. “It is said to weave blessings for health, strength, and harmony into a household.” Her voice softened further as she recited:

"Lífbjörg, móðir lífs og vörn landsins, gefðu styrk hjarta og hendur sem hlúa. Blessaðu húsið og þá sem það hlýja, með þinni náð og friði í öllum hlutum."

She smiles, awaiting Callyope's reaction. "I know it is a lot to memorize at once. We can practice it as much as you need."
