Galen's breathless laughs fell into deep chuckles, still batting his paws a moment before he rolled to his own feet, almost overbalancing back into his friend; though neither would have really cared if he had. His manner quieted just a little, answering back with an acquiescing nod of his head. Of course, of course.

He shook himself half-heartedly, not caring much for the snow still clinging to him like a wrongly colored tree. His smile still remained on his lips, ears tipping forward. Walk safely.

There was a strange sensation in his chest, he realized, as Luhtar disappeared into the woods, bound for his pack.
It was something like sadness, but not quite. It only sank in the instant his friend was completely gone. Homesickness.

He sighed to himself, peeking at the cloudy sky as new snow began to dot the land; ensuring a quiet, cold night ahead. Galen traced his own pawprints back through the winding white and green - the remains of overturned herbs and mussed snow all that showed he had been here.
