@Mallaidh - borders.

Early morning brought with it a thin layer of frost on the earth. Eos could feel it bite against the pads of her paws, forcing her to step quickly as she trailed the scent path of the mountain. Her pelt was not nearly long enough to compensate for the frigid weather. The life of a coast-dweller meant that she did not truly know the pains of winter or what would come with snow. However, she was determined to take it in strides. Her willowy legs carried her along the base of their pack with a wayward sense of determination. The sea-wolf allowed her eyes to wander along the sharp dips and falls of the mountain face, intrigue growing in the deep of her belly. She could not imagine living on such a stretch of land. Eos imagined that danger would lurk around every corner and that the nights would grow lonely.
The sun had not yet risen over the Teekon wilderness, but the beginnings of it could be seen as it stretched over the mountains. Eos could already feel herself growing homesick, and she longed for the crashing of the waves against the shore. Nothing would compensate for that, she knew. Nonetheless, her curiosity was compelling enough to have her amble quietly towards the base of the mountain. Her sea-water eyes swayed slowly across the steep rocks as she went.
