Cerulean Cape i like turtles

Firefly froze mid-step, his amber eyes locking onto the massive creature sprawled in the sand ahead. Its shell gleamed faintly under the dappled light, patterned with mesmerizing swirls of green and brown. For a moment, he forgot the warning from his companion, his curiosity tugging him forward.  

It’s... huge, he murmured, his voice filled with awe. He crept closer, ears perked and tail wagging cautiously. The creature shifted slightly, lifting its head to regard him with slow, deliberate movements.  

It’s not dangerous, Firefly whispered back to the Kirain, glancing over his shoulder with a grin. At least, I don’t think it is. Look at it—it’s like a walking boulder! He stepped closer, the soft sand shifting beneath his paws as he leaned in to sniff the edge of the creature’s shell. What are you?

The sea turtle blinked slowly, entirely unbothered by his presence, and Firefly laughed—a light, carefree sound that echoed across the shore. You’re incredible, he said, taking a step back and looking to his companion. Have you ever seen anything like this? It’s like the salty water made a creature out of stone and waves. His tail wagged furiously now, his earlier wariness replaced entirely by wonder.
