Neverwinter Forest spiritus arbore

sólhárr — she cast him a warm smile, turning to tread after him. her attention spun upwards as they walked, to the shifting canopy of trees and the shuffling of windswept leaves. she thought the forest beautiful. she thought it a place to learn. 

enlivened, the nymph turned to skip alongside sólhárr, breathing deep the crisp evergreen air as they moved about the woodland. the trees spoke as elders, and she a pupil to listen. 

"hic beati sunt spiritus," she muttered beneath a quiet breath. "i will grow here," she shared, turning to the man with a radiating warmth. she was still but a sapling, longing to sprout skyward and stand with the towering conifers. perhaps here in forneskja, she might lay roots deep enough to do so.
