Bearclaw Valley crash of worlds

the conversation of fatherhood and doubts is put to rest as they close in. the incessant yips and ear-piercing howls make the southern man scowl, and tvar's orders are short and simple. 

with a heavy nod, dolce breaks off to veer left. trampling undergrowth beneath the weight of his paws. a flash of tan—a heavily pregnant mother that's made the mistake of crossing his path. he's upon the coyote within a matter of seconds, crushing it beneath hands already stained. 

jaws finding purchase on it's neck as it kicks and snarls in its panic and surprise. with a tug, the neck pops and snaps, and the creature goes limp within the hold of his teeth. he drops it to the ground, kicks its lifeless body aside. 

eyes tracking tvar as the man makes his move, meanwhile coyotes begin to flood the clearing.
