Neverwinter Forest Fate and Destiny were never friends

hmph! maybe it was lame? qapnuk stared at the wolf, moving his head and neck in a gross snake-like manner as he assessed. he could not tell if there was any deeper injury to the creature—but there was no blood scent, and no sweet milk smell, and nothing to indicate any wrongness.

the vulture opened its wings and tried to thrust itself up again—as if the singular motion might bring him back in to the air, regardless of how fat and ungainly his body was. it did not work, and he gave a croak as if it were the wolf's fault.

a few lurching hops later and he was running to try again, only to trip on his own feet and go plodding in to dirt.
