Duskfire Glacier The moon cuts a path

A polar bear. 

Tikigâk closed the distance between them in an easy and self-assured step—they had paused, hearing her no doubt. Stark white, unmarked and unmarred. Athletic in build, but she did not appear battleworn. Tikigâk moved to sniff at her, should the other not step away, to learn the stories one only could come to know by scent—the places she had gone, the wolves she had seen. She offered to the stranger the same opportunity, one that was only afforded to those that were pack, or that her mate otherwise trusted. 

Another scent on the wind pulled some of her attention away from the she-wolf. The scent of arctic fox—close. Inside Darukaal. An invite to hunt is given with a low rumble; Tikigâk begins to follow the scent upon the wind, ears turning toward the other as to hear if she followed.
