Cerulean Cape salt ending

Whether it was the wildness that lived within her. Or the fact that she was descended from queens. Fabienne weathered the storm with her mother. She wasn't much help. She couldn't do much but paddle her legs sluggish.

The cold pierced her to her marrow. And thr seawater coated her throat thickly. She coughed and gagged. Too tired to speak or stir much towards the end. But she tried. 

She pushed her effort forward when manman called out. She lifted her own tiny voice. It was quickly swallowed by the wind. But she was alive, hanging on for now.
