Sun Mote Copse again, a place to fall

Staring.

Little specks -

Away they went, away they came, away they went.

A past reached her again. A tune found her ears...

"Wa-ha-ha, ahhh, wa-ha-ha-ahh

The smiles on everyone's faces"

A whimsical melody it was, a song she had heard sung and echoed many countless times in Halfshatter. Many more times had she carried this tune across hills and valleys and tundras to where she was now. Simple, perhaps childish. 

She blinked, and the speck was gone.

There, she turned to the wind now, and felt it drift gently over the tips of her fur and tease the edges of her ears.

The copse... a soft place indeed.
