Perhaps this boy sang of the hunt? A'yan was not adept at hunting by any means, but she had kept herself alive this long, and had learned a thing or two along the way. She could not quite tell if he wished to hunt, but at the very least, if he invited her to do so, her frame was small enough to not impede his efforts.

Then came a wind bearing plentiful scents. The hunter-singer seemed to notice it before A'yan herself did. Ah. Is this what the copse is hungry for this morning? She turned to him. Do you intend to chase that savory wind?
