So far, she'd been judged by a snaggle-toothed bitch and attacked by a bird. Suffice it to say that these lands had not treated Aisling well.
But, a blessing! The berries she had so diligently collected and ferreted away had gone past ripe, and now smelled pungently, chemically sweet. Before entering this somewhat-foreboding looking place, she ate a few.
Within the hour, she was floating again, thank the Lord above.
Aish was in a stupor, but not so much that she didn't notice the frenzied movement ahead. With her berry-sack clutched between her jaws, she ambled forward, and was shocked to find a woman seemingly in the process of ripping her own face off.
Perhaps she was mad. Hopefully it was not catching.

Ahh, girl, what's amiss?she asked, dropping her pelt and trotting toward the stranger. This had the potential to completely kill her buzz, but compassion won out.
