Had summer come already?

Waawaashkeshi knew that their preperations were beginning late this year, her litter stealing her full attention for a time. Even now she felt uncomfortable at the thought of stepping away, but they were beginning to grow old enough for eyes to open and legs to push to a stand. They would be alright.

Climbing out of the den she sounded a howl to her packmates, a call! Usually it would be as simple as that, a call asking them to prepare, but these Summerwalkers were living without a Birdwatcher.
