Moonstone Quarry Won’t you show me how to dance forever

Solharr had emerged soon after, his quiet steps missed as she twirled. His sleepy timber was like music to her ears; she did not shy away at his audience—quite the opposite. His words spurred her movements just a bit longer, heated, performing just for him and him alone. 

As the music of the wind faded, the god-song settling deep in her core, she turned to him, breathless, for the smile she found there as he regarded her stole all air. To finally see it break through the once hardened exterior of him was ground-breaking, earth shattering. It called her to him now, her body tethered to it, his gravity pulling her in.

The man had once told her: “i do not speak often. but if you are patient... maybe i will.” And, did he ever now—the words he spoke to her were of worship, colored in his love, and she returned his smile with one of her own. Her paw lifted to bring his face down to hers, kissing him gently, sweetly.

It is because the gods know I do not care for their worship—I only care for yours. Her brow pressed to his, she whispered her fire as their breath mingled. I only need yours as surely as I need air.
