Visala had not been sleeping well as of late, a problem she could not place a reason on. So when Sam slipped away, it was not long before her unseeing eyes shot open like a siren had been set off right in her ear. Groggy and quick to notice her brain damaged friend's fading scent, she rose to her paws and slipped into the rain to search for him.
She wasn't exactly hydrophobic having grown up next to the water, but she never liked rain. It made everything more difficult; she couldn't hear as well over the heavy drops, and her sense of smell and touch was overwhelmed by the dampness around her. Basically, it sucked. Nonetheless she was determined to find Sam; she had thought to howl to him, but worried that if he was feeling confused again it might just scare him.
