A large tree with an abandoned rabbit burrow is what the blind girl brought her to. It was too small now, but if they worked together it would make a suitable den for Sam. Far more used to den than sleeping outdoors, Ghost wasn't sure why she hadn't done this already, but her own could wait until later.

Lightly clawing at the dirt around the hole, she let out a breath. A den.. for Sam. She said, voice just more than a mumble. It might be better. When her head ached she always preferred to retreat to the dens in her home, quiet dark places that lessened her pain. She thought it could help Sam too.
