A not-so graceful holler hit her ears, forcing Eydis out of her miserable thoughts and back into reality. Twisting her head she soon spotted the source, calling back a dry-throated No!

It took a moment, but she was pretty sure she recognised the old fart. A lack of daylight made it difficult to confirm, but she still somewhat remembered meeting an old lady and what Eydis was sure was her grandson in a forest just south - she thought it was south anyways.

She wasn't exactly hopping and yelling joyous day, but of any of the sort of familiar faces she could have spotted this was probably a better one.
