A stranger had come — and then gone.

Towhee handled it and Trailhawk only loosely followed whatever had occurred. There was no need to crowd things if the Elder had it all under control.

Yet it was indeed the scent of a meal and the stranger that had her round back towards where Redhawk and stranger met. Curious and only lightly impressed.

It seemed the Elder Redhawk still had it handled. She hovered only for a moment, hoping to gleam something from the stranger. There would be time for a proper introduction if he stuck around. Unless noticed and bid to stay, she'd go off to trot a patrol.
