The beginning of the move had been chaotic, to say the least. Panacea was further injured, even if it was only a small bite, and suddenly he was caring for his mother who seemed to be losing her mind.

He had ordered both to rest, focusing on the returning pack members for a few days while bringing meals to his mother between tasks. But today, it was Panacea who he had come to check on.

Kemal had taken to following his scent through the pass, and was displeased to find that it did not lead towards any dens he knew of. But, he would not assume the worst. Maybe Panacea had only needed to stretch his legs, or wanted to get something to eat from a cache.
