Katmai had told Kira about Treepie, encouraging Kira to meet more of the pack members. When Kira noticed her at the cache, she started toward it to introduce herself.
But, Treepie had started off toward a scenic overlook. Kira trotted after her. Once she saw the overlook, she took a minute to take in the view before turning to Treepie. Her tail flicked with excitement before she spoke.
"Hello, I'm Kira. You're Treepie, right?" she introduced herself and asked about the other.
