Chinook smiled to her mother who had followed her trail, as she lifted her head into the kiss at her brow given to her. Her mother began tidying up furs and organizing stacks. As far as Chinook was aware, her mother was found often working pelts when she was not fishing, often down stream from her father now that she and her sister were old enough to be on their own. Neither parent were healers...

Yet Chinook had taken a liking to healing by even the lightest of stores her mother held and the memory of Moonwoman spoken to her and how mighty a medicine woman she was. The smells enticing and inviting: sweet, bitter, spicy, fresh... Her father too, whispering to their mother, of the new woman @Ippiksaut who knew of the old ways. Then the pair from the Healer's Guide had arrived. Now this. The signs made for Chinook's path grew. She would learn these things in honor of the great mother of the villages before her.
