Her ears pulled briefly forward when the man turned away with his tail held high. Then Foxglove let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, and crept forward to tear into what remained of the seal. A win was a win, after all.

She didn't eat much. Just enough to take the edge off her hunger, enough to carry her through the next few days if she didn't manage to catch anything herself. She swiped her tongue over her muzzle as she lifted her head to look at the stranger again.

A few feather-footed steps brought her closer. Foxglove rolled onto her back with another imploring whine, forelegs stretching out toward him. Her tail swished against the ground beneath her. She stretched her legs out as far as they would go, pawing at the air in a bid to get his attention. He'd given her food, so she figured that meant he wasn't planning to bite her any time soon. So obviously that translated to a free pass to bother him further.
