Bitterroot Valley off my knees now

she sits upon her favorite rock. lofty and lounging, giving a flick of her tail and a thud every now and then. much like an agitated feline.

only an hour ago, she had returned from a hunt. the crimson remainders still stain her from snout to chest, a bleeding red that will not fade until she braves the cold waters of a stream and washes it from her.

for now, ravah is content to exist. her eyes flutter closed and she turns her head to the ray of sun that peeks shyly through the winter's thick clouds. giving a soft, content sigh.

quite keen on being left alone.
