While Antares had every intention defending that which he decided was his, he did not truly want to see the other wolf reduced to a quivering lump. The part of him that was extremely dominant appreciated the fact that the submission was so very instantaneous but the other part of him did know that these creatures were not like him. Their life was...docile. Sweet even. Antares stepped forward from the shadows and moved to stand close to the female.
"Calm down." Was his response after she mewled at him some, it was not that he particularly knew how to handle females here (actually, he had limited experience with females he did not share blood with but that did not make it any better) and so he should have expected them to be softer and more fair. She was pale, with enchanting eyes, and there was a part of him that felt bad for disturbing her. The rest was amused.
With a slick little grin inherited from his father Antares stood carefully still other than the slow movement of his tail. "I live near here, with my sister. We do not take kindly to the closeness of others to our quarters. Take heed the next time you enter this forest." He explained. "No need to grovel, shall we start we names?" He asked after a moment of pause. Next he expected her to take the opportunity to run off and escape him and the area.
