Another wolf answered his call, one he had not seen before. He didn't care if they had a lack of familiarity, but that he was capable enough to help him bring this buck down. The Beta nodded at the white wolf's submissive posture, but then turned his attention back to the prey.
"We have to confuse and corner it somehow. I'll stay here and you sneak around to attack it from the rear." That strategy would work, seeing as the other male was white furred and could blend easily into the snow-covered background without raising any alarm. He would stay here and distract the buck until the other one attacked. The assassin focused his gaze on the injured deer and bared his fangs, snarling. He lunged forward and snapped at him, jumping back as the buck waved his hooves at him in retaliation.
