@Durnehiivr @Trajan @Julius @Relonikiv if you will have me :) Setting this mid-morning ish.
The weather was just about freezing, but the sun was out and the sky was blue, much like most of the days lately. Despite the cold, the days were pleasant, more or less relaxed when the Creek wolves weren't scavenging for food. This particular day Falwasi had been daydreaming beside the tumbling waterway, a sign that maybe she'd been awake for too long.
Falwasi stood up from her sitting position, giving her velvet textured pelt a gentle shake before continuing on with her day and abandoning her mid-morning reverie. It wasn't long before the smell of puppies repleted her lungs, causing her heart to increase slightly in its once-steady thumping. The pale golden tinged wolf couldn't help but grow annoyed by her own nerves. She had never felt this way with Summer, or Saena, so what was the difference? Maybe it was because these kids were an eighth of their size and couldn't speak.
Falwasi lingered at the edge of the creek, lapping the glacial water even though it numbed the inside of her throat. It was somewhat unpleasant, somewhat energizing. Once the actual liquid had gone down, it left the after-shock that awakened the hunter, encouraging her to look in the direction of Paarthurnax's den.
