But then along came something else, a she-wolf of utmost beauty, with a pelt of butterscotch spun with shades of warmth, who loped onto the scene with collected pride. She caught his attention at once just as most pretty faces did, and Quicksilver gawked at her in awe even as she introduced the first on the scene as her not just her mate, but her mate with great emphasis.
