If Cara had been able to hear Kaname's thoughts, she would have shrugged it off anyways. As real as Mara's offense had been, the prideful Queen did not believe for a second that she would be able to keep her word -- or screechy whines rather. With the confidence she had deposited onto the Spine's future and her renewed title as Alpha, there was no space to fit the possibility that the petty female she had mopped the floor with would return, and let alone convince others to follow.
Pride was a sin that was seemingly common among the wolves of the Spine.

A sin she could see flickering in the dark male's eyes as he began to list the things he was interested in knowing, as if were up to them, Kaname and her,to sell their pack as a provocative luxury palace instead of having them sell themselves in hopes to be good enough to honor the Spine. She locked eyes with the man, her features remaining flat and neutral, never betraying the heavy interest which lurked behind her pupils.

It was then that Kaname began to speak again, giving the pair a bit of a back story of what the Spine stood for. With keen interest, the Queen continued to observe how the interaction unfolded. While she could sense Kaname's hidden discomfort laced under his words (and could too guess the reason for it) she did not turn her head back to him just yet; instead she returned the silvery male's gaze without faltering. The intention retained in his blue eyes was clear, not to her but for his companion, who did not hesitate to voice, in a rough tongue that made the Queen's ears prick brusquely, what could only be a warning -- which was gracefully ignored by the silver man, who resume with his partner's questionaire, adding a particular humorous flaire to contrast Sinaaq's callous speech.

This was Cara's cue.
With her tail rising subtly to call attention to herself she began,As Kaname said, we were formely known as Silvertip Mountain, we moved because of the unnerving proximity another pack presented and because here we have found abundance, so prey is not a factor of conflict she stopped, looking at Quicksilver before carrying on with her speech, We have no quarrels with other pack simply because we don't interact with them. We have no friends, and no enemies unless they actively mess with us -- which is what a former member has done. she barked making a brief stop to mention assasin's description of conflict with some 'unsavory locals'. While she believed that no one would be as dumb as to follow Mara, she still held her guard up -- and would expect the males to do so too if they ultimately joined.
We have little tolerance for insubordination and value loyalty and collaboration especially -- everyone pulls their own weight, and I expect you, as potential members, to do so too. she barked, her eyes now seeking to connect with the dark male's own. As for trades, I believe you'll have good judgement of what will make yourself useful. she finished, her eyes alternating between one and the other in searchs of reaction.
Despite the introductions and flawed first impressions, Cara had hopes they would not turn away the opportunity they were being given.
