Like Silas, Tuwawi shunned the coast. She was not a friend to the sea or the wolves who called it home - namely those of the Cove and the Bay. Their rituals and rites were otherworldly. Even if her old Alpha, Sterntooth, had been on good terms with both of these tribes, his sentiment had not trickled down to his followers. Tuwawi was not a god-given wolf, at best she could be named druid, and she had never been a major player in any pack politics. This was probably for the best. She wasn't a wolf who wanted the limelight, and she certainty didn't want to mingle with those who believed in dark magic, jinxes, hexes, and fictional bears.

The forest - the Earth - soothed the flame. Even though she was a woman of few beliefs, Tuwawi still found comfort in her earliest teachings. Even on this frigid day, the valley seemed to embrace her like a babe in its den, despite its wild conditions.

Her pace slowed as a hot and pungent smell wafted towards her. The stench was only secondary to the tepid warmth, and the Phi endured it willingly. Soon, the snow began to melt away at her paws, leaving hard footing with little vegetation beneath her feet. A rolling rumble vibrated in her ears as Tuwawi entered the steam. Every muscle seemed to relax at once as the heat spread throughout her chilled figure. Whatever this place was - it was excellent.

A low bark interrupted her tranquil mood. Tuwawi had not seen another wolf in days... and it was suspicious that the first would be outside the borders. Her silver eyes monitored the stranger's silhouette carefully as he emerged from the mist - an umber colored youth touting a pair of smiling honey eyes. Tuwawi's masked face dipped to acknowledge him, an ear cocked curiously. Would she be verbose or silent this go around?

Amicably, the red she-wolf approached, ruddy ears cupped forward as she tried to decipher his odor amongst the putrid steam. "You are...? she asked first, in her characteristically husky voice.
currently sports a radio collar around her neck.
