Like a carousel she chased the shorthorns round. Her intent had been to corner them in Northstar Vale but, one stout creature had thwarted this tactic. Turning his friends back towards the mountains, he created a panic severe enough to drive them to Sunspire boarders. Were it not for the doe wounded in the rush Persephone would have taken the buck for the extra trouble. However, since Echelon had earlier denied her invitation to participate she was not granted the convenience of choice.
Still, there was the matter of their location. Too sensible to kill on the wolves' tread, the Redleaf-DiSarinno was forced to drive the herd once again. Taking them back a broad distance first, it was then that she revisited the ill fated. Cutting the doe from the ranks, she rode her to the ground before stealing her breath. A neat and blood-less end. Tearing into the doe while her friends watched, she ate until the ravens too began to gather. Swollen and ever cautious of her own protection, the brunette did not languish but instead seized a limb and began the long haul.
Her audience was dissolved by her motion although she was unconcerned as they bleated and scattered. Going through the crowd, she set her sights on a fissure several feet up. It was daring to go even that much closer towards the Spire but she couldn't just leave the thing laying out either. Pressing her ears against her head at the force of pulling it along, she toddled awkwardly with her head to her chest and the bulk of the doe between her open legs.
