The little fox thought himself quite lucky when he came across the deer carcass. A nearby raven cawed irritably as he tore into the still warm flesh, and ate until his hunger was almost sated. Tired now, he lay beside the doe and lazily half closed his eyes, reaching out every few seconds to snatch another bite. The tiny fox had barley made a dent on the doe, his stomach was easy to fill.
