Blacktail Deer Plateau How bright you shone for me tonight

A part of Valtýr wanted to skirt away and avoid becoming caught up in the confrontation any more than he already had. Heck, if he had been a few months younger he probably would have. Yet, the youthful Sveijarn was ripe for these kinds of interactions and so he watched Dante's mane bristle and Osprey's stance become rigid with an analog eye. The pecking order amongst the Plateau wolves, though is seemed rigid, was actually fluid and already Saena was not far behind her aunt in the pecking order.

It was curious how Dante chose to recline from the precipice and let Osprey take the helm in this conflict. The alpha male, as the sole top dog, often had the last word in pack negotiations. Yet, he watched with a tempered and pacifistic control that Valtýr almost admired. Osprey, too, had yet to bare her fangs -- but she was unyielding in her position, practically obtuse. Val's eyes slid back to Saena. The silver wolf would not back down from her junior's demands. Would they spar to settle this argument?
