It had never occurred to Peregrine that Osprey might seek to become leader of her own pack one day. The thought honestly made him proud and unhappy at the same time. Leaving Flightless Falcons had really changed everything for them, hadn't it? Four wolves who'd assumed they'd live out their days in their birth pack were now far from home, with one of them now leader of his own pack and another aspiring to do the same one day.
