The Deadly Dream

She listened carefully as the wolf told her she would find death here. Will this horrible pain finally be taken away from Outcry, and she can finally be free? "Then it seems I do have a purpose here" she said with a smile. However the young wolfess began to think of all the things she would miss if she died now. Finding a mate, becoming a mother, living life to the fullest. Was she really ready to throw it all away.

When the wolf released a growl Outcry's eyes shot open, and she backed away from the stranger. More terrible memories flowed into her mind, and she just couldn't understand why. Why did it have to be the painful memories that she remembered, and not the good ones? Perhaps it was because she had no good memories. Looking up at the midnight wolfess, Outcry trembled in fear. Was this wolf going to kill her, someone that reminded her so much of her former pack?

Even though she backed away, the young wolfess was still on the ground, in a venerable position. "Death, is the one thing I have been searching for" she said with tears flowing out of her eyes. Outcry stood on her legs, still trembling with fear from the stranger. Was this really going to be the end, and she would never live to see another day?
