The startled cries of a crow drew the dark males eye's to the sky, he tracked it as it winged it's way into the distance. As the dark avian disappeared, Nanuk trod swiftly to the place it had taken off from. Something must have angered or scared it, and he aimed to find out what it was. An angry voice came to him through the trees, and he slowed his pace, wary. Was it wise to investigate after all? The male shrugged and moved onward. Any company was better then none...he hoped.
His paws led him to a rocky clearing, and the source of the cries, a beautiful, angry fae. He stopped, hidden from her, and contemplated going forward and greeting her. An angst ridden voice propelled him into the clearing, a little bit of alarm in his eyes.
"...whats the point..."
She stood precariously on the edge of a steep cliff, directly below it a lake. He knew that a fall like that would kill her, for water turned hard as rock if you fell from high enough. He resisted the urge to pull her back to safety, instead sat, nonthreatening, a little distance away. "Don't jump." he said in a soft voice he had not used in a long time.
