Queenie hadn't gone far from where she had met Zen only a few days prior, but she'd made an effort to move a bit more inland so as to get away from the stinging needles of the sea breeze in winter. She'd been lucky; a buck hadn't gotten caught in a bush of thistle only a few yards in from the treeline and likely froze to death. It'd probably sucked for him, but Queenie was beyond thankful to have been the first to find him.
Once she'd had her fill, she made a point to mark in a small circle around the carcass before strolling off to a nearby tree and resting in the snow below it.

Nightstar is currently in Blackfeather so i'm setting this back to the 9th.
Nightstar was sniffing the snow for signs of an animal. The food had been rather scarce in the cold months that followed and it had been hard the keep both him and his sister Moonshadow well fed. The trail wnt cold, literally and Nightstar sighed as he made it to a clear patch of dirt that wasn't yet covered by the white snow that seemed to cover everything in its cold precense

There was silence, then came the harsh footsteps of another wolf. Queenie's ears perked first, trying to detect the relative location of the stranger without giving away her own spot, but once she could no longer hear anything, she was forced to look around. The girl was forced into defense. She embodied dominance as she scanned the landscape and stood beside her meal. She had found it, so it was hers! And Daddy Bruce always taught her to only share blood with blood.
A low growl bubbled in her throat, cracking as a small, quiet bark before she settled back into her resting spot.

The black pelted male looked at the defensive female. "Relax I have no intention on taking your meal." He explains as he watches the female who was obviously younger than himself. He see's the dominance in her stance and makes no effort to submit as he looked at her.

Just as she was beginning to settle back in, the other seemed to appear out of nowhere. Queenie was startled (she gave a half-frightened, half-threatening yelp) but quickly composed herself. She didn't care that he didn't want to submit, so long as he knew that she wouldn't either. Relax, he said, and Queenie snorted. The idea of relaxing with a brute so near to her property was almost hilarious enough to bring about a giggle.
So why are you so close?she asked, wondering if he realized just how personal space was meant to work.

Nightstar chuckled at the young wolf's remark. "I am just passing through." The black pelted male said with a smuggish grin on his muzzle. Her reaction to him intrigued him a bit. The wolf knew that he could take her meal if he wanted to but he did not.

Queenie huffed and seemed to settle a bit, though she was still obviously on guard.
You're wandering a bit close, don't you think?Normally, loners avoided other loners; there was strength in numbers, and each of them only had one soldier. Queenie couldn't think of why he would have approached her, other than to annoy or otherwise harass her, and that didn't please her one bit.

Nightstar was amused by the female as she countinued with the questions, which she did ask a lot of. "I was curious to what you were, far away I couldn't tell." It was true, from far away she was very blurry and he was unable to see. The male was somewhat blind when looking from far away lately.

Queenie was becoming increasingly annoyed with the male's imposing attitude.
Now you know; do you mind? She made a slight nodding motion with her head as if to silently say, It's been nice! Hopefully, he would get the message, but if not, Queenie would be high-tailing it out herself.

Feel free to stop him if you'd like but if not he'll just keep walking
Clearly Nightstar had overstayed his welcome, for' he wasn't going to stay any longer, the female had made her position quite known and he was no oblivious wolf. "Have a good day." He said simply as he turns around , walking in the same direction from where he came.
