attn: @Raven !!!1
Clover realized she hadn't actually congratulated her big sister herself, yet, and so she followed the inky womans trail with a nice fat rabbit in tow. Clover was happy to see Raven end up where she was, loving her and all, though the shift and changes were rather abrupt. She knew her mother was pissed, and Clover didn't blame her considering the fact that she had given a pep talk to Towhee and Towhee had flat out told her she would lead. Whatever happened in the brief interim made that conversation null and void.
But ultimately, Clover was happy for Raven. She knew her mother was too, else there might be some other drama impending, but what her mother felt most of all was probably disappointment, and everyone knew that a Blackthorns foul mood was best to be respected and avoided unless you wanted to bear witness to the damage Mount Vesuvius could bring. They were doers, not thinkers. Fortunately, Clover shared her fathers genes as well as her mother, causing her to do some thinking—unfortunately, it wasn't an awful lot.

Most days, Raven could be found near the lake. It seemed to be a fairly central congregating spot for most of the pack, which made it easy for her packmates to find her if she was needed. Not only that, but it was a blessing on those days when the sun beat down on her back relentlessly and made her feel like a walking solar panel. Whatever forces were at work in the universe, they had a really sadistic sense of humor when they'd decided that wrapping a wolf entirely in black was a good idea.
Even now, Raven was relaxing in the lake, thoroughly enjoying the relief the cool water provided. The water was neck-deep where she stood, and occasional swells in its surface lifted her gently off her toes and she floated -- a ridiculously delightful feeling, in her opinion. When she happened to glance toward the shoreline again, she noticed the familiar silvery form of Clover approaching. Grinning, she made her way toward the bank, glad to see the girl. Having recently met with both Tegan and Fiadh, Raven had been wanting to catch up with Clover sometime soon.
