Anyone is welcome to join. This is somewhere between Porcupine Ridge and Horizon Ridge.
Autumn had promised herself on the island that she would journey to the mountains. She stood on a rocky slope, and it reminded her of her childhood home. Her paws shifted as the wind threatened to blow her away. Pebbles tumbled downward. Autumn lifted her face to the sun and closed her eyes and let the cool air rush through her fiery fur. She could be like the fox spirits in the legends with mountains as the setting. Shade Boulder, Arctic Fur, Ice Air, or Cave Bear. She felt like she could just jump off and soar, and fly. But she better not, she thought with a chuckle, opening her eyes. It was a long way down, even though she was not at the peak of Porcupine Ridge. She would journey toward the Sunspire, and make her way to the meadow. The alpha had been said to look like a fox, but was the girl as smart, or fast, or joyful as one? After the meadow she would see where the wind carried her, whether straight back here or towards Silvertip perhaps. Autumn loved traveling.

I'm gonna jump on this thread train if'n you don't mind.
Fang had decided to set out on an adventure, the mountains were quickly becoming an inviting and challenging home for the halfbreed and alongside the praise he received from Ferdie on first meeting the vain alpha he decided to improve his abilities in traversing the rocky terrain. after travelling through the meadow he moved into the area known as porcupine ridge and beyond. Carefully moving throughout the stoney pathways and offset ridges.
as he continued and the day drew onwards his stamina began to wane, there was no immediately acceptable places to take a rest so he continued on at a more steady pace. That was until a familiar scent caught his attention, a familiar musky smell unlike any from his own species, but close. The half-breed recognised foxes almost immediately, only ever encountering a small number he nonetheless enjoyed their particular company. Disregarding his fatigue he set toward what he thought was the location of the Fox, offering a short bark in an attempt to call out and locate them.
Despite his intentions he wondered if his bark might be misconstrued as hostile and scare the small vulpine off. Worth the risk though, foxes were always entertaining.

The mountains made Meldresi's pawpads cracked and sore. She wanted to get off this hard mountain and return to the lush and soft ones of the Spine, but she had to get this hare! She was starving. The hare was accustomed to the mountain, unlike her. It scurried ahead, dodging and evading her snaps. The priestess growled and increased her speed. She needed this hare!
Soon it darted away, taking a hard right and Meldresi skidded to a halt. She caught her breath as she peered over the edge of the cliff. "Sweet mother..." she cursed. "That was close..." The raven-furred wolf shook her fur, relieved that she didn't fall off the edge. In the corner of her gaze she saw an orange-red pelt. A fox? Her indigo eyes fixed on it. So close to a cliff?

Autumn looked up to a loud bark. Probably a local pack wolf. She grinned. "Hello there, sir! Nice day?" She called. She knew whether it was a fierce pack or not she would easily outwit a wolf if it came to danger. Or outrun it. Racing was fun.
She did not notice the black wolf who had been chasing a rabbit. Otherwise she would've been suspicious and checked to see if wolves were behind her, too. But she was not too alert today. She was too busy taking in the view like a feast after starvation. She could see so far... She wondered what was outside the Teekons. One day, I'll go out and explore that.

The small vulpine greeted him with an affable enough attitude. He expected no less, sly, cheeky, and devious were a few words to describe foxes, but he'd never encountered a bad natured one, yet. He continued his approach, nodding once as he spoke. Quite so. He agreed. Especially when you're afforded a view like this. But I must know what's one of your kind doing so far up. .. His words trailed off as he drew in sight of the black wolf looking intently on the small fox. A quizzical raise of his brow(at least as best a wolf could manage) accompanied the male as he sniffed at the air. There was nothing familiar about this dark creature.
He suddenly found himself feeling surprisingly vulnerable at his position, atop a mountain, alongside a cliff far from his 'home', now in the presence of an unknown factor. Since joining his pack he was finding it more and more comforting knowing he had help close at hand. This time however he was alone. With that he simply watched the other wolf and the vulpine.

Meldresi blinked from her sudden shock, focusing now on the fox and wolf in front of her. The fox hadn't seen her, but the wolf....no, he wasn't just a wolf. A mix-breed. She could tell from the shape of his face to his body shape. Half-dog, half-wolf. Nothing uncommon, but still. She approached the pair, noting the quizzical look on the half-breed's face. "Pardon me."

She smiled as he replied. "
Is it odd for a fox to be up here? It's just that I just love the veiw. As well as the fact that I'm journeying on as much land as I can cover. Why are you up here?" She asked. She looked up when another voice came to her ears. A black wolf that she hadn't even noticed. She scolded herself for being so clumsy.
"Hello there! I'm sorry, I didn't even notice you there."

Sorry for the delay!
Shaking his head slightly, dismissing his shock at the sight of the other female. He took another few steps in their direction. He nodded quietly at her explanation, I go his head I'm greeting toward the dark wolf before returning his attention to the vixen. Odd? Me guess not, it is a marvellous view. As long as you weren't intending to walk off the edge.
he stopped, sitting in the rocky earth, tilting his head as golden eyes tried to take I as much as he could. I'm just exploring myself, I'm Fang, by the way. He looked beyond the fox to the dark wolf as he spoke, offering introduction to both of them.
