Winter was brewing, and she could even feel the shivers through her thick ebony pelt. The mountain hung close the snow-like regions, and her small cave was close to the top and its coldness to the touch; and so as winter came closer and closer, so was the coldness to her very core. While she enjoyed it so, Asra was only a wolf, and she too, required warmth. Useful for the summer seasons, but perhaps not as well for the colder ones.

She though with @Taikon before to cover with bedding, but one could only do so much with the birds, rabbits and squirrels.. She would need something larger, and refrained from beddings that came from any foxes or the likeness. Anything canine looking was something to be scorned to kill. Empathy was given, and they were so alike, yet so different.

Thus the conclusion; a deer. If the snow-born wolf could successfully hunt or two down, it would be satisfactory as but a hide for winter, and to snuggle in it's embrace seem but a warm dream that brought the happiest smile to her so. The issue, however, it was already hard to take even one down, and it seemed rather.. Difficult, to ask any other.

Asra was at the borders contemplating if she should dare the task alone.
