All Welcome
As far away as the eye could see, the world opened, a small, blue marble spinning in space. Focusing on a part of the North American continent, then closer, and closer.

It was a fine day, the birds a chirping, the wind sweet with the promise of summer. The caldera bloomed with spring, fragrant flowers and the small bees attending to them.

It was on this day that young Cardinal escaped the den. It was rather an accident, she had been trying to back up, but had run all the way out of the den. She landed straight on her back, staring up at the sky above her head. A butterfly, the small scales on its wings glittering, landed on her nose for a brief moment in time.

The girl froze, nose poised in the air, to allow the butterfly to sit on its pad a while longer.

me when i reuse my own writing:

the intensity of the world frightens him!
robinsegg blues could only distinguish the amphorus shapes that entered and exited, but his sister's gallantry encouraged his own. unlike eagle's siblings, eagle was actually not grade-a unadulterated 'wild kratt.'
he chose to indulge in his limited freedoms:
like (A) gnawing on a certain @Crane,
(B) unceremoniously waking up your sister cardinal just as she'd gotten to nap (your poor ... poor put upon mother @Chickadee, elijay jr.—!),
or © farting directly under @Kivaluk's armpit;
so popping open those cute little saucers and taking his first steps was a leap in development.
his sister was trying to back up from his trademark roughousing before se switched the stick and reversed buttfirst out of the den. he loped towards her shape, seeking to save her from the light before it was too late!
instead, he unceremoniously tripped onto her back, saving her from the wined beast that tried to steal her nose. just another day for a hero:
eagle-1 and nature-0.

Cardinal aggressively flailed when Eagle decided to use her as a speedbump. The gentle butterfly took wing as she rolled to her stomach, turning wide, wounded eyes on her brother.

No no! Came her wail, copying what she could of the words her mother sometimes used when they were being naughty.
