Silverlight Terrace Into the unknown

’Rosa is off adventuring! Welcoming any and all characters to encounter her.

As ‘Rosa grew, something’s inside her began to awaken; a tendency that her mother and father both carried. To wander was in her blood. And with some convincing, her mother allowed her to strike out for the first time. She wouldn’t go far from the Spine. So after a kiss from her mother and a tight hug, she set out beyond the territory. 

Her paws carried her beyond the pack’s borders and down into the valley below. Her eyes were wide with childlike wonder. She lifted her face skyward, sniffing the fresh summer air. The sun warmed her black coat, and the breeze ruffled her fur. 

The grass was cool, soft. She rolled around and then laid there, on her back, to watch the clouds roll by. The world was amazing!

The Summerwalkers had quietly dissapated as a pack, but they were still a family. Waawaawashkeshi had slowed down, moving throughout the great bear wilderness with her children, @Biskane, @Kogi, and @Nagamo, at a leisurely pace that intended for them to get a look at the world.

Returning to the terrace today she found they were not alone. How lovely! Spotting a dark coat in the grass she was quick to call out. Hello stranger!

They smelled of Moonglow, yet did not seem to be someone Waawaashkeshi remembered from her time in the pack. Then again, much of her time in Moonglow had been spent wandering.

Ponderosa’s ears perked up when she heard a voice call out. She stopped what she was doing, rolled onto her stomach and sat up. She looked around, trying to pinpoint where the sound came from. Quickly, she spotted a blonde and white wolf a couple of yards away. Her voice was friendly and feminine. ‘Rosa felt more shy than suspicious, but she knew that sooner or later, she would need to venture out of her box. 

“Hello!” She responded, standing up to get a better look at the wolf. She had three pups with her, which was a comforting sight. She would let the other female and her pups close the distance between them.

She kept her distance respectful. The stranger was young, and Waawaashkeshi had learned that crowding another wolf wasn't always the best idea.

You live nearby? She asked, gesturing towards where Moonglow's territory laid. I'm passing through with my pack. Though, they weren't too much of a pack right now. More of a traveling family.

The other woman showed respect by keeping her distance. This helped bring ‘Rosa further out of her shell. 

“I do.” She replied, a friendly expression on her face “I’m Ponderosa.” “I am with Moonglow.”

The other woman said she was with her pack, but ‘Rosa couldn’t see anyone else besides the pups. However, this was no reason to not believe her. “May I ask your name?” She asked in return.

Waawaashkeshi. She responded promptly. It is good to meet you, Ponderosa.

I thought you might be Moonglow. I was too, my plan was to visit sometime over the summer. Even if it was only to proudly display her children and share a few stories, Waawaashkeshi would be happy to see familiar faces.

Waswaashkeshi.... It was a unique but hard to pronounce name, so 'Rosa settled with: "It's good to meet you."

The woman also shared that she was once part of Moonglow, and that she wished to visit over the summer.
"I'm sure you'd be welcomed." She began, "How long ago? A lot has changed." she replied, a bit of a solemn expression on her face. She didn't know all the details, except that the founding alpha's had died, and that their descendants had taken their place at the helm.
