@Ayana , Pretending he meets her at their arranged location.

Burke was kind of relieved that Meldresi's heat was over. Now he wasn't so tense all the time and chasing off others. Not that he didn't trust his pack but Burke was rather possessive and he wanted Meldresi, his dark queen, to carry his young. Hopefully there wouldn't be too many pups, two or three should be good. They weren't getting any younger. The male had other plans now. He had to execute his perfect plan. Hopefully Ayana would do well, this was a test after all. Though he sincerely hoped that she would do well. He needed this, and he actually liked her. She was a good member of his pack. He had put a lot of time to train her too, hopefully she would make it as a Dark Sister.

The dark male waded through the lake, keeping a bit of distance so she didn't have to work extra hard to get their scents out of their fur. The full moon fell down on them, illuminating the world around with an eerie white light. Burke's pale eyes seemed to gleam with excitement. "So, the task is simple. Get accepted in the Caldera Pack," he spoke to her in hushed tones. "You had the training and you know what we talked about. There is a reason I want you to be accepted in his pack. My "son" lives in this pack, you can't miss him, apparently he looks just like me. He is annoying and a coward who won't come out of hiding. His name is Sebastian. It is a full moon now, I don't want to see you leave those pack grounds until the next full moon. Gain their trust, work on your trades, gather all their information and weaknesses. On the next moon we evaluate, here, and plan our next step. Understood?"

Burke let out a long sigh. "Focus on Sebastian, I want to deal with him later and I want to know how his brain works. As a spy you will find this out for me. In the meanwhile, defend their borders like you would protect ours. Chase me off when you see me or any other member of BFW. If they don't trust you by the next full moon don't show up. Alright?" Burke then let a silence come over him. "Whatever happens, you have to know you can always return. I will make the others know you are not a traitor but on a mission," he explained and then pulled a rare genuine smile on his face.

It had been a few days since Ayana left Blackfeather. Burke needed her to be a lone wolf for a while, mainly to get the Blackfeather pack scent out of her coat. She was hungry and wanted to hunt, but she needed to meet up with Burke to discuss her mission, so the golden wolf started trotting to Greatwater Lake where she would talk to the Alpha.
-
Sebastian. The name of Burke's son haunted her head right after the male has told her about him. She never knew the Alpha had another son. One that looked exactly like him. And he did not seem to be too clever. Sebastian. So her mission was to firstly spy on the pack and their plans, structure, strategies etc. and secondly to babysit an annoying lost child. Could not be too hard, right? However, deep inside her, Ayana knew that this would not be too easy. She sighed and looked at Burke, nodding while he explained all the boundaries she had to keep in mind. Redhawk Caledra would be her home until the next full moon would rise, and the female was excited. It felt as if she was torn into two pieces. One piece of her was positively excited for the mission. She wanted to meet new people, maybe make friends and just get to know about other cultures that would help her grow personally. But the other half of her felt like just laying down on the ground of the black woods, curl up like a puppy and never leave the pack. She liked it here, it was her home after all. They accepted her the way she was and did not care about her dark secret. Somehow, Ayana felt like a dark secret was what they were all carrying. Sebastian . Was he part of Burke's dark side? Or was the dark brother the perfect wolf he seemed to be? Ayana was keen to find out.

The female took her mission very seriously, the perfectionist came out inside of her. She wanted to succeed, no matter what it took. If this meant defending another pack, she would do that. If it meant fighting someone from Blackfeahter Woods...she would have to do that. But Burke would tell them she was on a mission, so they knew she hadto fight them, right?
Ayana turned to Burke. "Thank you, Burke. I will miss being part of the dark woods. But I will fulfill my mission and do the best I can. I am giving you my word.", Ayana said. Her heart was racing and she could feel the adrenalin rushing through her veins when she spoke those words.

Burke wasn't sure what was going through the girl's mind but it must be a lot because she kept quiet for awhile. The male knew the girl was loyal to him, but maybe a bit of background would be better for her to understand? He wasn't really keen on her knowing his whole life but he did send her on a rather personal mission did he? "Sebastian will probably talk bad about me, keep that in mind. Don't defend me because it might look suspicious. I do know that this Sebastian wants to kill me, or he was intending to before. Now he has gone in to hiding and I am not sure why." The truth was that he had been ill at the time and wasn't going to face this Sebastian. Burke had no idea they were doing the same.

"You will find this out, and try to be his friend. Don't get attached though, he will be killed," Burke pointed out to the female. Sebastian was probably around Ayana's age. And he did see how she looked at Meldresi and him. It seemed her biological clock was ticking or something.

LMAO did I make her seem so desperate? :D :D

Ayana's eyes widened when Burke spoke his words. He knew that his own son would be killed? The female was shocked, she started seeing Burke in another light and she was not sure how to feel about it. The male had seen so perfect and untouchable since Ayana first joined - except when you thought he's Meldresi's little weak, annoying friend ... - and now the Alpha let her know what was going on inside of him. So Burke had a son, which he hated and wants to see dead. This Sebastian must really be some kind of nerve wracking kid. She smiled. Ayana was the Queen of manipulation and scheming, if she wanted to. And she knew that you need to be cold to be Queen.

The female nodded and looked in Burke's eyes. "What do I do if they don't trust me? Is there anything that will make them trust me?" Ayana knew that her behaviour often made wolves suspicious rather than make them trust her. She really wanted to practise her social skills a little more, maybe she could find another loner to practise on ....
It was weird being a lone wolf again. She missed the feeling Blackfeather had, the pack was something like a little manipulative, dark family. And Ayana was part of it. She was part of something whole, something that accepted her and made her feel good. But now she needed to join another family, get along witht their traditions and even act as if she liked some weird, annoying stranger that looked like Burke. Great. However, in a really weird way, this was exactly what she wanted to do. To succeed, to scheme, to be evil. She would make this Sebastian person feel horrible, she wanted to see him suffer after all he had done to Burke. ... He was a bad person right? At least Burke wants to kill him ... What if.. No. He's horrible. And Ayana would turn off every single feeling she had and simply do her job. It was a job, and Ayana was professional.

Burke looked at the girl and sighed softly. "Just don't so suspicious things," he spoke. "If you don't smell of Black Feather you have nothing to fear. They don't know you, you never met anyone of their pack where you told them you were from Black Feather.... right?," he checked to be sure. "Plus, you can talk bad about Black Feather, but just don't over do it," he shrugged. He trusted that she would be fine. She already smelled of a lone wolf after being on her own for these last few days. She would only have to add a few days more and she would be more than okay. Plus she hadn't been a member for that long, which meant that the swamp scent wasn't permanently in her fur.

Burke stepped closer. "You have to believe in yourself okay? You got the trust of all Black Feather wolves, you did that on your own," he explained. "Don't think about the mission, just the fact that you want a new home. Work as hard as you did for us and they will like you in no time!," he assured to her. He tried to be motivating so Ayana would believe herself that she could do this. It was important. And if she succeeded he could start distributing other wolves to different packs.

Ayana smiled at Burke's kind words. He was genuinely a nice, honest teacher and the female knew this, so she really appreciated his time for her, although it was more or less his job. She wondered if her new Alpha would care about her aswell, and really hoped that he did. She needed to earn his trust after all. Maybe being a counselor would even make the Alpha talk to her about serious matters ... Don't get too high hopes, girl. She sighed a little. One thing she did not like about herself was how quickly she got high hopes and then ended up being disappointed about the reality.

The female looked at Burke and nodded when he told her to see it as her new home rather than a job, and she would try to remember those words.
She was scared of being rejected, but at the same time something inside her told her that she would definitely be accepted and able to join the pack. Maybe she needed to try harder than whenh she joined Blackfeather, Meldresi kind of just accepted her because of her injuries, she porbably felt sorry for her.
Talking bad about Blackfeather could be a good idea, though, maybde she could tell them she was kicked out and gain their trust by "defending" the Caledra by fighting off a Blackfeather member...

Finally she smiled at Burke. "Thank you again, Burke. I really hope everything goes well. You know you can trust me.", she said, hoping that this would not come across in a weird way.

Burke had to agree to that. They had planned this all perfectly. No one knew except that Ayana was training in becoming a Spy and that she had a mission. Only they two knew the true scope of their plans. Burke was perfectly pleased, so far everything was going well. He knew that by now. Yes, yes. He nodded slowly, truly believing that there was some success rate to this plan. No one knew, no one could know. It was more than perfect.

The dark male looked over her. She was a good candidate because she could pull of the innocent look. Maybe it was the golden coat, or the way she carried herself. He wasn't sure, but he knew for certain if he would send someone like Shego or even Cicero it might have looked suspicious. "I know I can. Hopefully I can award you the title of Dark Sister soon after you completed this mission. On this big sized mission I don't feel the need to test your other quests if you success that is." Sneaking past the teacher quest was nothing compared to pretending you are a loyal pack member for more than a month. That was for certain.

Ayana smiled at Burke's words. A Dark Sister. Something she had never expected to achieve. Being part of something so big might be exactly what she needed to make herself feel better again. To move on from the past, to start a new life. To finally be back in reality.
She was nervous, but Burke did a great job at calming her down. He really was a great mentor. She knew he expected a lot from her, and she would do anything to please him.
"I would love to be a Dark Sister, although I can not really imagine myself being part of the Brotherhood yet!", she said smilingly.

She looked back at Burke."I think it's time for me to leave now. Thank you for your time and advise, I will try my best to fulfill this mission.", she said, nodding at him. And I will succeed. I always do.
Ayana turned around, sad to leave Blackfeather but excited to start the mission at the same time. This was her chance to shine, to show her true self.

Thank for being so patient <3. Last post from me.

I will wrap it up and archive!

Burke nodded shortly, knowing that they shouldn't be too long with each other presence. He noticed how strongly he smelled of the Black Feather compared to Ayana. She had done a good job so far. He was curious to see if she succeeded in her mission. She better. Burke wanted this plan to work, and if not he would have to think of a new plan. "Only if you succeed," he added and then moved out of the water onto the banks of the lake. He shook himself out and looked over his shoulder to the golden girl.

"Good luck," the alpha wished and then trotted back to his homelands. This was just a test run of his evil master plan and hopefully it would work as he planned. Then he could start training Cyn and maybe even a few others to infiltrate other packs. Then he would be the center of all information that happened in Teekon.

-end thread-
