@Kyron ?!

Eshe marched through the woodland proudly. The place was claimed and now it was time to build caches, and search for herbs, and do anything that needed doing. Pack leading was serious business and Eshe intended to do everything necessary. She wanted to do right by her wolves. She specifically sought one, now. Bounding through the woods Eshe tried to flush out his scent, tail loosely aloft behind her as befitting her rank. Now she truly was alpha female, and in name, too.

Her approach would be far from quiet, if she was heading in the right direction. The mud slopped and smacked loudly, making no secret of her movements. She sniffed loudly for good measure, and imagined she was on the right track. She'd soon find out, Eshe supposed.

Ever since they had officially claimed Neverwinter Forest, Kyron had been busy. Busy hunting, feeling caches, patrolling the borders, specifically to strengthen their sink and make sure that any creature could smell their border markers even from ten miles away. Trespassing, 'looking around', nothing of that sort was welcomed now. He would make sure no one had any excuse if they were caught trespassing; Kyron was a wolf of mercy and compassion but he was still a wolf, and nothing of that sort was tolerated.

Because of that, Kyron hadn't had the time to socialise and catch up with his friends. He hadn't seen Goldhawk and properly asked him if he was fitting in. Grimacing, he made a mental note to find him later. What kind of friend would he be if he didn't check if the golden wolf was fitting in and adapting well to this new environment. For now, though, Kyron was busy patrolling the borders.

He heard her before he smelled or saw her and paused in his footsteps, looking curiously around.

Kyyyron! She called again. She thought she had heard something, too, but he had stopped moving. She sniffed again... yes, definitely on the right track! And so Eshe forged ahead, weaving inexpertly through the trees that she would soon slide right on between. She pranced along anyway until she spotted a fresh track from her comrade, the friend she'd call brother due to his allegiance, and grinned.

She broke through the woods and lo and behold, Kyron! She moved toward him, grin still present, Well, howdy! So good to see you! Just here to hang out, and patrol with ya, her tail waved over her back as she trotted toward him, wanting him to know off the bat she was here on business and pleasure. Who said you couldn't have both?
