All Welcome
As far as he could comprehend, it had been a little while since he had been thrust into the bitter world outside. There were others among him, and he fumed at the fact that he did not have Mother to himself. Now, Mother was a curious being indeed. She wasn't much for cuddling, to his disappointment, but provided the best source of.. whatever it was, he could get his tiny paws on. But of course, in his world he was assumably their leader, unlike Sister believed herself so. That always ended with him scrambling to crush her with his body weight, and her snoozing on top of him. It was a common cycle that often annoyed Brother, which led to the both of them separating for everyone's benefit. How much it made Zaria's eardrums bleed, he had no idea.

He did not know much from his small space of mental capacity, but took to inching his way around the area assumed to be their home, quite often. He could feel the ground, cold yet urging him to lift himself from it. He found he could not do so, and flopped back down on his fat covered belly. While this was most certainly amusing to his parents, he had a mission and would not stop until he could achieve. But no most days, he would fall right to sleep and forget about his ultimate purpose in life, snoring quietly as he did so.

Zaria noticed that the balls of fluff were starting to become a bit more mobile. Luckily she had secured the den for that, having a little latch a pup couldn't really climb over before it was more mobile on four paws. Zaria let them scramble around the den, not really too bothered where they were going. Her green eyes following one of the twins. She forgot if this was the first born or the other. They still didn't have names. She would let Fitz decide on those, she remembered he had some ritual about it. That was when she got her new name.

The pup flopped down and a snort came from her nose, probably one of the first noises that indicated slight, very slight, amusement. The mother looked skeptically at the potato. Not even sure what to do with these things. She placed her head down and nosed over him. What a loser, not even able to get to his feet. Hmpf. She snorted some hot air over him, maybe to tease him, maybe to seek some interaction with her own boredom.

Cameo maybe!!!

The queen of the brood was at peace, undisturbed by the self-proclaimed creature that frequently invaded her space. Adeline was presently unaware that she invaded his space, too, when she slept atop him; Adeline was only consistently aware of her own existence and her own need for survival. She snoozed quietly, happy and warm with where she rest. The only time she cried any more was when another was a nuisance toward her, or she was not on top of the heap. Her weight was distributed between Odette and Solemn so that breathing was not an issue for the duo; she had learned that this was the best way to lay and not have the floor shake beneath her. One paw twitched; she dreamed of feeding, but was still other than that movement.

His adventure made an abrupt halt when a looming figure blew a hot substance over him, which shocked yet comforted him in many ways. Mother, he now discovered, could do many things. He let out an unknowing squeak, and scrambled out of the way of her fire. He did not want to rest, he wanted to explore. Unknowingly, this probably would have prompted Zaria to do it again, and cause him more hilarious distress.

In his mind, this was the ultimate goal, to escape mother and explore the outside. But there was something in his way, and he bashed against the wall in confusion. What was this? He mewled in anger, trying to clamber over the wall but to no avail. Bother and Sister did nothing to help but sleep, how uselessly. He could tell that Sister had taken her place on top of Other Sister and Brother, but he did not take much care for them.

When his plan did not work and the wall did not fall, he surged back at Mother to clamber on her paws, gnawing on what he could find with practically non existent teeth. Her nose had been sickly tasting, but everything else he was yet to find out. He had no appetite for milk just yet and was more awake than his siblings, most likely to Mother's distress.

Zaria flattened her ears when the pup let out a squeak in protest to her warm breath. The mother was less agitated by it now seeing that she caused it. The female was mostly frustrated because she was not perfect at this and normally she was perfect at everything. Once they started to cry out of nowhere she was mostly clueless. She didn't want to feel like that, therefore she started to associate that feeling with their screams. The pup crawled toward the den entrance, probably his nose leading his way. Zaria grinned when the pup struggled and couldn't get over. "Ha, stupid," she stated.

Zaria looked a bit shocked when the pup returned to her after she called him stupid. God, what if he thought that was his name? Fitz would be quite mad at her. The pup climbed over her paw. She couldn't help but smirk at the idea of having him respond to stupid, because that would be really... stupid of him. HA! Zaria then realized that she might needed a break from being in this den for most of the time. She was clearly going out of her mind. The youngster started to avidly explore her with his mouth, Zaria thought that he wanted to feed so on automatic pilot she picked him up and placed him by the others at her belly. She watched the puppy pile sleep with the girl with the white tipped tail being on top as always. "Be like them, Stupid," she commanded to the deaf pup.

The replacement of his current position startled him, as suddenly he felt no ground below him. The cold feel of air rushing by was an instant before being nudged against his Mother's stomach. He had other plans however and was not in the mood for snuggling down. He had just slept and abandoned the pile of siblings that Sister was yet again placed on top and had no desire to return. The milk always made him sleepy. Did Mother want him to feed? He didn't understand. The lack of proper brain function accounted for the lack of direction as he clambered around in circles, doing other than what his mother wanted him to do.

He struggled back to Zaria's feet, for the things intrigued him. Climbing over things that would not climb back over him made him feel better, as Sister always assumed that role. He was however concerned for his own well being and Sister's heftiness was cause for ill feeling. This was when, he found an odd feeling in his lower abdomen but did not care much about it. Instead he found himself quite comfy atop his Mother, resting down in his calmness. It was less warm, but was much better than being rolled on by Sister.

Zaria looked at how the little bundle didn't do anything that she wanted him to do. It seemed to be a pattern in these balls of fluff. Maybe they were deaf or something because they never really reacted to her voice or to her cursing at them. Briefly she wondered if there was something wrong with them. That she had yelled them deaf. Whoops. Better not tell Fitz, and even if he would find out then she would deny that it was her. Maybe it were just his genes that caused it because well, she was perfect.

The young male looked down then the pup climbed on her paw. This boy had the most weirdest sleeping places. Because he couldn't be comfortable. Still he was quiet so Zaria was not going to move him. She didn't want to have any more of a hearing damage. She looked over the others and then grabbed the pup with the white tail. She was quite dirty and the mother, in her boredom, decided to do something about it. This way the other's also would not be crushed by her weight.

Adeline was taken on a crane ride and was complacent and quiet when carried, because instinct told her this was entirely normal. The whelp, when placed to the ground, remained silent. Adeline adored the feeling of her mothers tongue sweeping atop of her, and was her best behaved in these moments of being groomed. She was equally as well behaved when she was atop her siblings. What had she to complain about then? Her weight was not so hefty as to suffocate her siblings when distributed properly, which her mother always ensured since Adeline was not capable of that herself yet. She was up to par with her siblings when it came to the way the brain worked; but when she was pleased, Adeline was truly the perfect child. But unlike her siblings, Adeline did not exhibit any signs of sweetness or love or devotion. At this age, hedonism was all she knew.

fade here?
Stoic was quite snug, resting upon his mother's forelegs. It was an odd position, but comfortable nonetheless. What he ultimately wished for was Zaria's undivided attention, to have her nuzzle upon him with affection. But instead did her attention waver to Sister, having a nice warm bath by Mother's tongue. He did not know of jealousy, and thank goodness, he was too tired to care. His thoughts dreamt of the Outside, beyond the wall that separated him from the world. What was out there? Well, he didn't have the mental capacity to think about it but his interest was most definitely there.

Slowly but surely, a wave of tiredness took over him. A thing emerged from inside, widening his mouth to display his first yawn. How interesting, he would be sure to do that again sometime. His eyelids became heavy, and soon a small snore took over. It might have been cute, if he did not think himself a brave explorer. Even so, his moment of pure innocence was one that he would not remember, and that was that.
