Private

There was another pregnant woman in the pack, and she wasn't a queen, neither True or False. Instead, their Silencer, the Dark Sister Nemesis, was bearing the children of the next generation.

She smelled it in the air the next time she visited Spiderlings' Glen, slipping through the tunnels, walking into the small open valley that harbored the future of the Dark Brotherhood. She was glad to see the small adoptee Qilaq (or Xivilai, as Damien was insistent on her being called) was up and about, her energy returning after her brief bout with sickness. But Nemesis...she was round, clearly in the second trimester of her pregnancy. How are you feeling? Potema asked, knowing how difficult pregnancy could be.

omfg i just about died at that title, good choice

She lifted her head as Potem approached the den, the one she was forced to relocate to after Qilaq's arrival. Kove hadn't been too happy about that but he realised it was for the best, however strange and unhomely the new den was. It did not help to her sleep, adjusting to what felt like a huge rock underneath her was difficult, her weight was also slowing her down, she noticed.

"I feel like shit,"

She grummbled as she re-lowered her head to the ground, for she did not feel like entertaining anyone that day. She wanted them out of her, and fast. She knew she was only bound to get bigger, for she had seen Malice and the astronomical size she had swelled to. And there was always the chance she was carrying more, which only meant more weight to burn off afterwards. Great.

Potema smirked at Nemesis' harsh answer. Not surprised. Pregnancy, from her knowledge and not her experience, was difficult, especially for a first-time mother. Even for those with much more experience, the situation proved uncomfortable. The sudden change in one's body, accompanied with the growth of little creatures in one's womb didn't help. Other than the excess weight, has anything else been bothering you? Upset stomach, headaches...? Mood swings she could not fix, unfortunately.

It seemed Potema paid no mind to her foul mood, and for that, she was grateful. While she did not like to complain, it seemed she had little or no energy or muse to go about certain tasks she had carried about as apart of her daily routine before she became fat. Now, everything seemed unappealing, from running to hunting, she would rather move at a paced lope than the latter. But, she figured, Potema could not cure a lazy mindset, and she swiftly ignored the fact. However, she could name a few, at the top of her head.

"Aches, hunger, cramps," She let out, tiredly. This was not what she signed up for. Well, she had not signed up for anything really, it just kind of.. happened. Perhaps the symptoms seemed so bad due to the fact that this was her first litter, opposed to being an experienced mother. Maybe, next time around, if it ever happened, the side effects would not be as nearly unbearable as she made them out to be. Then again, she was not entirely sure she was willing to go through it again just to pop more children out of her stomach. As for now, the result seemed highly unrewarding, despite not having experienced the "miracle" of birth. Either way, it could not be as amazing as said; her children would serve a purpose rather than existing as an accessory.

Aches and cramps where? Hunger could be easily remedied; she would have to make sure a cache was made near, if not in the Glen for Nemesis' easy access. The aches and pains she felt needed to be specified before she started treating them. While there were plants that could be used for widespread pain, it was always easiest to pinpoint the treatment. But, given the circumstances, giving Nemesis a general pain-killer might be the right remedy after all.

Aches. The fact she had become less mobile as of late did not help her muscles and tendons, and she found it harder and harder to loosen up like she did before. She felt stressed, wound-up, and it clearly had an effect on the way her body went on about it's business. "Everywhere," She replied, looking to the girl after a moment. It was not specific, for what she needed was a pain killer that could cure her entire body of it's lethargic state. She had no doubt Potema could produce something to do just that, by some higher power or whatever, she was willing to take anything if only she could walk comfortably again.

Yet, it was not the only change about her that came with pregnancy. Her attitude had started to fluctuate, calm then angry, then content to lustful. She had no experiance with what it all meant, but she was hopeful that is would go away soon, for she could not look at her mate every five seconds and want to jump his bones.

Potema smiled sheepishly at Nemesis' single word answer. At least she wasn't violently spewing liquids like her Mother had when she was last pregnant. Or at least, she wasn't just yet. Pregnancy was strange like that. It affected everyone differently, even at different times. I'll get something for you.

She rose then, intending on squishing past Nemesis through the tunnel in the back of the den, but she paused briefly. I know it hurts, but you should probably walk around the Glen as much as you can. Walking more would help her muscles relax at the very least.
