The blizzard had given the trio ample time to discuss their wants and desires in life. Unanimously as a group, it seemed as if @Seff, @Hvitserk, and Freyja had one mutual desire: exploring. Settling in a pack where they had no ties appeared to please any member of their band, nor did it motivate any of them to stay. Though they were appreciative of the what Spring had offered them, they knew that this was not their permanent home. So as the snow trapped them into their den, the three teenagers talked to the extent of what they wanted and how they were going to achieve their goals.

It was as the snow began to melt that the trio slipped from their shelter and out into the world. They took their time as the world around them thawed. They prepared for their adventure, and they took their time in saying their goodbyes to the pack that had acted as a refuge in their time of need. But, soon enough, the trio was as prepared as they would have ever been.

They slipped from Silver Creek without much of a fuss, leaving assumptions to the wolves they hadn't been in contact with of their whereabouts. They headed east, as if back in the direction of Sleeping Dragon, yet, instead of veering north they directed themselves southward.

They were nearly to the edge of King Elk Forest as the sun began to set, spilling tendrils of golden light through the breaks in the trees. Pausing, Freyja was suddenly caught up in a wave of nostalgia, and she paused, looking to her traveling companions with warm eyes.

"This is it," she inhaled deeply, feeling both her excitement and her uncertainty of the adventure that laid before them.  This would be the last time that they would be within the stretch of the Teekon Wilderness. Pressing forward, she nudged each of her companions as she smiled and she found herself yearning for the familiarities of her childhood home. But, despite this, she started their pace again as they embarked wordlessly out of the valley and into the unknown, not allowing for such yearnings to damper the element of fun in their new adventure. Eventually as twilight blanketed the sky with a bright blanket, the trio was but a singular dot on the horizon as they ventured on as unison.
